Enzim Pencernaan dan Fungsinya

Enzim pencernaan manusia terdapat dalam beberapa organ tubuh yang menghasilkan enzim, yaitu mulut, lambung, usus halus, dan pankreas.

Mulut
Mulut adalah organ pertama yang kita gunakan untuk mencerna makanan. Pada mulut terjadi proses mengunyah agar makanan bisa ditelan. Pada organ mulut itu sendiri menghasilkan enzim yang dihasilkan oleh kelenjar ludah yaitu Enzim Amilase atau ptialin.

Enzim Amilase atau ptialin berfungsi untuk mengubah pati atau amilum menjadi maltosa. Untuk membuktikannya kita bisa mencoba memakan nasi dan mengunyahnya dalam waktu yang agak lama, maka nasi yang kita makan tadi akan terasa manis. Hal ini karena adanya enzim amilase.

Lambung 
Organ berikutnya yaitu Lambung. Di dalam lambung terjadi reaksi kimia yang disebabkan karena adanya enzim-enzim yaitu Renin, Pepsin dan asam lambung atau HCl. Berikut ini pembahasannya.

1. Enzim Renin adalah enzim yang berfungsi mengubah kaseinogen menjadi kasein.
2. Enzim Pepsin adalah enzim yang berfungsi mengubah protein menjadi pepton, proteosa, dan polipeptida.

3. Asam Lambung (HCl) adalah zat kimia yang berfungsi untuk membunuh bakteri yang masuk bersamaan dengan makanan yang kita makan. Selain itu, HCl juga membantu kerja enzim pepsin dalam mengubah protein.


Usus Halus
Didalam usus halus terdapat beberapa enzim yang memiliki peran berbeda-beda antara satu dengan yang lainnya, berikut macam-macam enzim pada usus halus beserta fungsinya:
1. Enzim maltase adalah enzim yang berfungsi untuk mengubah maltosa menjadi glukosa.
2. Enzim laktase adalah enzim yang berfungsi untuk mengubah laktosa menjadi galaktosa dan glukosa.
3. Enzim enterokinase adalah enzim berfungsi untuk mengubah tripsinogen menjadi tripsin.
4. Enzim lipase adalah enzim yang berfungsi untuk mengubah lemak menjadi gliserol dan asam lemak.
5. Enzim peptidase adalah enzim yang berfungsi mengubah polipeptida menjadi asam amino.
6. Enzim sukrase adalah enzim yang berperan dalam mengubah sukrosa menjadi fruktosa dan glukosa.

 

Pankreas 
1. Enzim amilase pankreas adalah enzim yang berfungsi untuk mengubah amilum menjadi maltosa atau disakarida
2. Enzim tripsin adalah enzim yang berfungsi untuk mengubah pepton (protein) menjadi asam amino
3. Enzim lipase adalah enzim yang berfungsi mengemulsikan lemak menjadi asam lemak dan gliserol.
4. Enzim karbohidrase adalah enzim yang berfungsi untuk mencerna amilum menjadi maltosa atau disakarida.

Hati (Empedu)
Sebenarnya hati tidak termasuk kedalam enzim, namun organ ini memiliki peran yang cukup penting dalam proses pencernaan. Hati menghasilkan cairan yaitu cairan empedu yang berfungsi untuk mengemulsikan lemak.

When Claire visited the Statue of Liberty for the first time, she instantly admired it as a symbol of freedom. Last week, my school had a study tour to Saung Angklung Mang Udjo in Bandung. We started our journey very early in the morning. There are six buses to take our groups. We stopped in the rest area before went directly toward Bandung.
When we arrived at Saung Angklung Mang Udjo, we were welcome by hot Sundanese drinks known as Bandrek It was very unique. After that, we went around the gallery that sells the Sundanese handicrafts. We then walked to the hall, it was a rounded stage. Everybody sat anxiously.
The Angklung shows soon began with a performance of a large group of dancers and Angklung players. Then, the master of ceremony introduced herself and offered the audience a short course to play Angklung. She then taught the audience to play the Angklung, each rhythm. Soon after the audience knew the basic sound, we all played popular songs together. The master ceremony spoke in English too because there foreigners among the visitors. At the end of the show, we were asked to join the performing children to dance together.
We really enjoyed the performance of bamboo musical instruments combined with the wonderful dances and nice master of ceremony. We were all very cheerful and refreshed after the show.

I’ve got a painful experience that I went through last semester. I joined the cross country. We were running this race competing against several I other schools. The entire race was long and dreadful. It took place in the desert so it was really hot and humiD. We ran up and down the hills.
It was getting awful after 10 minutes of the race. People who ran in front of me made me breathe the dust they createD. It wasn’t so bad until my throat started to hurt. It was very painful. I had a hard time to catch my breath and I sweat a lot. I really hated it.
In the end I managed to finish the race. I felt really good after that. I felt fully alive again. That race was a horrible experience. That is the reason why I quitted the team a week later.

It was the beginning of July, My parents and I were in a plane heading home from our vacation.

Suddenly, I felt the plane went bumpy. The impact was low at the beginning, however it gradually became terrible. Everything shook terribly. People started to scream in fear. I hold my parents’ hands. I heard my Dad was praying while Mom tried to soothe me.
Fortunately, our plane landed safely at the airport under that extreme weather. I thanked God for saving my parents and me.
